The NTCIP "Class B" protocol is a point-to-point poll/response protocol typically used with low bandwidth RS-232 communications. NTCIP 1202 does not define objects to configure the RS-232 devices used to implement the protocol. Therefore, all objects programmed under the Communication Menu are Naztec MIB extensions to the protocol.
The 2070 version 50 software supports menu items 5.IP Setup and 6.Binding that are not supported in the TS2 version. These menus allow the two IP addresses and masks to be programmed in the 2070. The 2070 port bindings set up the four asynchronous RS-232 serial ports (Async1 - Async4) and the FIO port.
