Naztec supports a maximum of 64 detectors (NTCIP 1202 - 2.3.1 MAXIMUM VEHICLE DETECTORS). The vehicle detector number 1 - 64 is a "read-only" object shown in red in the above menu (2.3.2.1 VEHICLE DETECTOR NUMBER).
The NTCIP 1202 references for the Vehicle Parameters are provided in the following table:
2.3.2.3 VEHICLE DETECTOR CALL PHASE PARAMETER - The Call Phase is the assigned phase number associated with the detector's calls and extensions. An assigned value of zero disables the associated detector's phase related features (Call, Extend, Lock, etc.), but does not disable the detector's volume and occupancy reporting. |
2.3.2.4 VEHICLE DETECTOR SWITCH PHASE PARAMETER - The Switch Phase receives a detector actuation when the Call Phase is red or yellow, and the Switch Phase is green. Essentially, the Switch Phase becomes the assigned phase when it is green and the Call Phase it is not green. Note that Redirect Ø Calls CALLS the Redirect Phase when it is red where Detector Switching EXTENDS the Switch Phase when it is green. see FAQ 11.2 |
2.3.2.5 VEHICLE DETECTOR DELAY PARAMETER - The Delay Parameter is the amount of time in tenths of seconds (0-255.0 sec) that the actuation from the detector is delayed when the Call Phase is not green. |
2.3.2.6 VEHICLE DETECTOR EXTEND PARAMETER - The Extend Parameter is the amount of time in tenths of seconds (0-25.5 sec) that the actuation is extended after the point of termination, when the phase is green. |
2.3.2.7 VEHICLE DETECTOR QUEUE LIMIT - When the Queue Limit is enabled, the queue limit timer determines the length of time that an actuation from the detector may extend into the green interval. The timer starts at the beginning of the green interval. When the timer expires, actuation from the detector is ignored. The time is specified in seconds (0-255 sec). |
