If you understand the following relaionship between Schedule, Day Plan and Action Table you will understand how NTCIP based time-of-day schedules select the current Pattern in the controller.

The Advanced (NTCIP) Schedule selects a    -> Day Plan 

The current Day Plan event selects an            -> Action

The Action in the Action Table selects a        -> Pattern and external outputs

The maximum number of actions in the Naztec Ver 50/60/61 controller  is 100 (NTCIP 2.6.2 MAXIMUM TIME BASE ACTIONS).  The "read-only" Actn # in this menu corresponds with object 2.6.3.1 TIME BASE ACTION NUMBER ENTRY.

Valid Pattern entries are 0 (free operation), 1-48 (any of the patterns in the Pattern Table), 254 (free operation) or 255 (flash) - see 2.6.3.2 TIME BASE ACTION PATTERN PARAMETER.

8 Auxiliary Outputs (2.6.3.3 TIME BASE ACTION AUXILIARY FUNCTION PARAMETER) and 24 Special Function Outputs (2.6.3.4 TIME BASE ACTION SPECIAL FUNCTION PARAMETER) can be selected by each action in this table.
