“Lock Inhibit”

 “Conf Lock Enable”

For most applications, “Lock Inhibit” and “Conf Lock Enable” will both be programmed as OFF which insures that the overlap clearance has completed before the next eligible phase is serviced. However, “Lock Inhibit” and “Conf Lock Enable” can be programmed as follows to affect the overlap clearance timing:

  1. Lock Inhibit ON and Conf Lock Enable OFF – Allows the next eligible phase to begin timing while the overlap times it’s clearances

  2. Lock Inhibit OFF and Conf Lock Enable ON - Allows the next eligible phase to begin timing while the overlap times it’s clearances if the next phase is not programmed as a conflicting phase for this overlap under (see programming for “Confl Prog+” defined for each overlap)

“Parent ø Clearances”

If “Parent ø Clearances” is set OFF, the clearance time specified for each overlap is used.

If “Parent ø Clearances” is set to
ON, the overlap uses the yellow and all-red clearance of the parent phase.  Typically, this option is set ON to simplify programming the overlaps.

“Program Card”

The “Program Card” option allows you to retrieve overlap definitions for the first 8 overlaps from the hardware programming card.

"Fast Fl Rate"

The "Fast Fl Rate" parameter controls the flashing red output of the FAST-FL overlap type.  Valid values are OFF, 60, 120, 150 or 180 times per minute.

The FAST-FL overlap type is used in some provinces of Canada to flash a protected green arrow in a head shared with the left yellow arrow (dual indication display).
