The Channel Permissive settings are used in conjunction with a TS2 (type 1) MMU. When an MMU is present in the system, this table must reflect the jumper settings on the MMU programming card. The controller uses this table to verify compatibility with the MMU before and during operation. If the two do not agree, the controller will declare an MMU Permissive fault and enter (or remain in) flash. This operation is governed by NEMA TS2 specification 3.9.3.1.3 which defines Port 1 (SDLC) Automatic Diagnostics to insure the MMU and cabinet facility are working correctly.
The NTCIP objects in this table are implemented with Naztec specific MIBs.
