Channel, SDLC - Channel I/O Parameters (MM->1->3->3)
Channel & I/O Parameters |
The following definitions were taken from the Naztec Version 50 Software Manual. Object references are also provided based on NTCIP specification 1202 for each "read-write" data object present in the controller menu shown above.
NTCIP makes a distinction between "read-write" objects (data you can edit in the controller menu) and "read-only" objects (constants that cannot be changed by the user). For example, NTCIP object 2.2.1 MAXIMUM PHASES is a "read-only" object and is fixed at "16" for the Naztec 16 phase controller. NTCIP 1202 defines the ACCESS attribute for each data object that governs the "read" and "write" access of the the object and whether it is accessible from protocol messages.

Naztec MIB - This parameter determines which output signals channels 17-24 are mapped to. Neither NEMA TS2 nor NTCIP define more than 16 output channels. |
Naztec MIB - The 'D' connector mapping entry defines the 'D' connector input/output pins. The following selections are currently available:
Refer to the appendices for the D connector pin assignment for these model controllers. |
Naztec MIB - TS2 Type 1 configuration that requires only one BIU for the traffic facility. |
Naztec
MIB - The IO Modes are defined
by NEMA as follows:
| TOD DIMMING ENABLE | 2.4.10 UNIT CONTROL (bit 7) - The TOD Dimming Enable must be set ON for any dimming to take place. Additionally, for dimming to be active, special function output x must be ON and the Dimming input signal must be asserted. |
| Prmpt/ExtCoor Out |
Naztec MIB - This parameter allows six of the external coordination outputs to be used as preempt active outputs, one per preempt. A parameter under the preempt programming for each preempt determines during which preempt intervals the output is active. |
| C1-C11-ABC IO Mode |
Naztec
MIB (2070 Only) -
This setting allows the I/O to be remapped for the C1-C11 of the 2070
controller and the A-B-C connectors of the 2070N controller.
