The Channel Settings allow you to drive each load switch channel with any of the 16 vehicle, pedestrian or overlap outputs.  Channels 1-16 channels are programmed using menu selection 1. and channels 17-24 are programmed using menu selection 2.  Channel Settings apply to all cabinet facilities; however, Permissives, MMU map and SDLC Devices only apply in a TS2 (type 1) environment.

Menu item 6.I/O Map  is provided in the 2070 version 50 software.  This selection allows you to reassign inputs and outputs on the NEMA A, B, C and D connectors (2070N version) and on the FIO 2A connector (2070 version).  Each of these menus allows you to remap 2070 inputs and outputs to match your cabinet configuration.  To reconfigure the I/O map, be sure to set the "IO Mode" to USER under unit parameters (MM->1->2-1).  Then, initialize the ABC, D or FIO 2A map under menu MM->1->3->6->3 to set up the default map.  Then, modify the "Inputs" and "Outputs" for the default map under menu MM->1->3->6.  Keep in mind that input pins cannot be remapped to output pins (and vice versa) because inputs and outputs are functions of the integrated circuits tied to each pin.
